Country Junction Restaurant in Smicksburg

It's a nice family restaurant. Took forever for the food, and it went from just warm to cold quickly, but I was starving at that point so I said nothing. The flavor was good. Friendly staff.

A terrific place to have a pie of various pies! Banana creme, coconut creme, Boston creme, fruit pies, peanut butter pie, pecan, and chocolate, just to name a few!

Food was great! Seemed made from scratch including the pies. Love their blackberry pie! Hard to find it. Prices were fair. Service is slow. Tea was starting to go bad. Wasn't impressed that my "bread" was a slice of sandwich bread from a package.

A terrific lunch target for our motorcycle touring group today. Friendly staff, fast service, tasty food and great dessert options. What more could you want? Thumbs up!

I have been to this place many of times. I can honestly say I will not be back. When they say endless refills that means you get 1 cup unless you can flag down your waitress. I have only ever had one waitress that smiles and enjoys her job. The prices are pretty good for the quality of food. When they have something going on in town you will not get the full menu and everything on the small menu is overpriced for the quality. If you find yourself in the area and want to eat I would not recommend this place.

Sweet in Smicksburg, PaFresh made goods. Only got chance to eat, but another trip in the near future to enjoy the whole expeience.

Staff was rude with no compassion at all! My pregnant sister and I were shopping in Smickburgh and my sister really had to use the restroom. The owner of the country junction would not let me sister use the restroom since we didn’t not eat there. The owner told her to use the port-a-potty outside. Keep in mind it was 20 degrees outside. I just find it rude and unfriendly. We have ate at the country junction multiple times while shopping in Smicksburgh, but we will not longer support them.

We liked the style and setting, but were disappointed in both the food and service. Menu was very adequate, but we accepted the suggested replacements. I appreciated the recommendations, expecting better food, but we were served refrigerator-cold fried chicken. I felt like the waitress was making a point of letting us know how put out she was that we would order dessert. This was dinner time, though it wasn't busy.

Our favorite stop for a meal when we are in the Smicksburg and Dayton area. Food very tasty and wait staff friendly and accommodating.

Best buckwheat cakes in Smicksburg

Overall, very mediocre. Nothing special about the food. Italian sub had bologna on it, omelet was way overcooked and brown. Service was slow. Had dessert and asked for it to be warmed up and it wasn't. Will not be going back.
